so i havnt updated in a really really really long timne
so its time to go at it
BIG EVENT
well this obvisoulsy goes to my dad surgery
a few weeks ago he had a quadrupal bypass at UMMC to prevent another heartattack and for the most part, minus three things, it was a smooth recovery
so hes getting back to normal now, i just walk with him and that stuff and help him out around the house but for the most part everything is getting back toghetyer
i guess the really good part is that for the first time since march 29, when he had the attack up in NJ, life is reallly starting to get put back together, which feels pretty damn good
SO OTHER STUFF
this hasnt happended in mylifetime until this year:
the last entry, the mets were in first place
right now, they are still in first place
finals are interesting

the reason the mood says envious is because i am envious of people who dont see how good they have it right now
well today is three weeks since the whole life upside down thing happened
at this point i can still say that normacy has not returned, and will not for at least two months
the official update is this (so u can stop asking, cause its hard for me to answer)
everyday he is a lil better
his operation will be sometime in may (probaly when im taking ap's, as if that didnt need another strain)
im very thankful and lucky that teachers have been going a lil easy on me because not only has it been tough making up the work, with all of the new responsabilities at home now, i just dont have time, for example, its 9:10 right now, im about to start hw for tommorow
because of all of this, my outlook on life has completly changed
i used to get very upset over bad grades
and now i laugh at those who do
cause in the long run
good grades do not equal good health
and health, family, friends and religion are the most important things
and they are all tied in together

it was life death
and there was a nother life deat situation on saturday
hes in UM hosp. right now
and im about to go

this weekend was pretty good
nothing better than a gideon event (cause we havnt had one in months)
pretty basic brother hood event, cept some bbgs dropped by and our fair share of inside jokes ranging from fire log uses to bra (as in bro)
assembly today...wooo
sharades in english...wooo!
besides that a normal day
made an emergency alarm in engineering
one week to go to baseball season
so tonights fact comes from the inaugural season for the mets
the mets right felider spoke spanish, their short stop english. So they would run into each other with fly balls. The short stop learned that i got it in spanish would be tengolo. So he shouted that and the right feilder backed off. he ran into the center fielder who had no idea what he was saying
yeah so really nothin much

yeah
gomez is on a rampage (not me gomez, gomez as in the spanish teacher)
lot of school work
but opening day soon
and the battle of the beltway (we so got this)
tons of bbyo crapola
and some other cool stuff
engineering = shocking
cuase electrical currents are great
cept when shea shocks his tounge
and crap

cause i just lost the game
so u have ten minutes to think about it

This weekend was actually really good, except for teh extreme amount of homework i had.
Friday i was supposed to go see V with everyone else, but i honestly was too tired to go, and i knew that saturday would be an early busy day. So i just kinda relaxed, did some work and talked to firends....that was the low point of the weekend
Saturday i woke up early to do some work. Then drove my mom to a lot of places for chores and other things. got some serious hours in the log book. So then i called steve and wanted to do something later that night, he said that i should come to the Franklin Variety show. So i did some more work. and went to the show. Came with steve and met up with eric, josh, dan ring, beccy (i think), ilana g., alexi, hannah p, anna and melissa, and some other people that i dont really remeber. The show was great but we had more fun just talking to each other. Came home late, did more work
Sunday, today
woke up early again, did more work. went the the JCC. got some pizza that the really cool cafe. it has actual good food. then everyone else came and we hung out. then had our chapter meeting. then practically all of gideon decided to go get food, so i decided to go along, cause why not. So we were a pretty big group in line : me, steve, eric, josh, dan ring, dan fried, grif, benjy and maybe some others, i dont remeber, so we rapped and did some other stuff and talked about stuff and did some stuff, yeah we are kinda obnoxious when in a big group
after that was teh council meeting
then hung out with the bbgs after their meeting where alysa hit me cause i caused this thing to shock her and then i lost to her about 38438 times at this shock game
came home did work
ate
work
still work

just wanted to say this
so i was at red robin tonight wearing my mets jacket
a lady walks up to me, "you a mets fan?"
me: "yeah a big one"
lady "same, u from york?"
me "nah jersy"
lady "o im from the island"
the reason this is funny to me is because she was such a typical new yorker, she was loud and referred to the long island as the island, something only funny to those who live, lived, or have family on the island. |
